PLANNING:
Would I take a DNA test?
To find out the truth.
Ancestors.
Family information.
Health information.
I would take the DNA Testing if given the opportunity. Since taking the DNA test would make me find out many things about myself and my family. The first reason is to find out my ancestors it would be interesting to find out.

Journal Entry 1
My name is Cleo Rose I’ve been living in London since I was a child with my parents and my big sister. I’ve never liked living in London with pollution and poor living who would want to stay here.
There are terrible living conditions and terrible hygiene
with dirty baths getting shared.
with dirty baths getting shared.
There are also diseases which can cause frightening sickness Since
the earnings are not much
we need to avoid sickness, we could not afford to be sick.
I work at a factory, I don’t receive much from the job but
I think that it’s better than nothing.
I think that it’s better than nothing.
While walking home from work through the narrow streets
I stumbled upon such lively colours that enthralled my eyes,
a poster that promotes new jobs and a new start, I spontaneously grabbed
the poster to show it to my family,
I ran quickly back home to deliver the good news.
When I arrived home I immediately showed them the brightly coloured piece
of paper, along with my family, we read the poster saying that we are going to
an unknown land called New Zealand,
I heard someone talk about New Zealand it was said to have beautiful scenery that could take your breath away.
I and my sister can't help but think about all the opportunities that we will
encounter, my sister wishes to be a tailor while me a clothier to help her
with the clothes, she's going to be making.

Journal Entry 2
We quickly went to the port to board the ship,
while boarding the ship I smelled the ocean and the warm sun hit my skin.
I'm still not sure where we’re going
but I’m just thankful that an opportunity was given to us to get such a
polluted area. As we board the ship
I started to think if we’re really leaving this country and get a new life with a
much brighter future and much better living.
I felt nervous when I looked around the ship,
the ship is cramped and doesn’t have good conditions
but I believe that it’s all worth it. I and my family received and mattress
it’s not the best quality of mattress but it’s better than the one we have back
at home. I sat down on the mattress and looked around imagining the journey,
no one really knows how many days it would take to go to New Zealand but we do expect that we are going to arrive there.
I stood up and stared outside the ship seeing dolphins following the ship,
such majestic creatures It’s my first time seeing them I did read about them,
I read a lot when I was young. My father introduced me to books when
I was little. I enjoyed the books he gave me I read a little about the land called New Zealand, it was said to be a mountainous area with a lot of plants and
trees, that little information gave me hope that we would have a better life after
all. My big sister, Lily is sick, she’s currently getting treated but the medicines
are no good, I hope we arrive at New Zealand safe and I hope no other sickness occurs. I talked to my sister yesterday she
said was getting better I'm just glad that soon she can get back up to her feet.
Today, I looked outside again, the scenery never fails to amuse me neither my
family, seeing a clear sky is just one but actually seeing the sea life is amusing
and relieves me from boredom. The journey is long we’ve been travelling for
days we saw some land but we never really stop, food wasn’t a problem but I
think it’s starting to be now, we almost ran out of food, the foods were getting
rotted, so we needed to stop to land to get new resources. We stopped at a
land called Mongol which is said to be located in Plymouth, we got new
resources such as drinks and foods, then we boarded the ship again.
After a few days, the sickness started to spread, unknown sickness my parents
tried to secure me and my sister by covering us with blankets, hospitals were
crammed doctors trying to find a solution, trying to solve the outbreak.
Unfortunately, people died from the sickness, but the doctors managed to
control the disease, I’m just pleased we’re all safe. After a long journey with
suffering and troubles, we managed to reach the land called New Zealand.

When we first arrived in New Zealand, I was overwhelmed by the scenery, it was so different from London, it’s much greener and cleaner. The moment I stepped out of the ship the cool breeze hit me, such fresh air I’ve never experience back in London, the breeze smelled like nature, not the smoky air I was acquainted with. We were given a place to stay and given job opportunities. I was asked about my experience with work I answered: “I used to work at a factory back in London.” I was assigned to a farm to grow crops. I worked hard and earned money to support my family who was still recovering from the shock of being in a new environment. Life has been good ever since then, no struggle has been Hitting us since we came here, my sister -Lily has been working with me at the farm, her wish is still to make clothes because she said that her goal is to make clothes for people who are in need. I wasn’t sure about my dream all I know is that I want to help my sister with her dreams. There are a lot of jobs here, the environment is much better and much cleaner, I never thought I’d experience such a clean environment and good job opportunities.

School uniforms are a waste of time and money.
Interestingly, most people think that School uniforms are not a waste of time and money. Some of the reasons why School uniforms are a waste of money and time are the financial problems some parents can afford school uniforms however many families have problems affording school uniforms, such as, jackets that cost more than they can afford. Secondly, a reason why School Uniforms are waste is the fact that you will outgrow your uniform having to buy a new one is a waste of both your time and money. This evidence shows that School Uniforms are a waste because they waste your money which you can spend on better things like groceries and food.

How would you feel if you were in an accident or had a rare disease, and you could be cured only if your damaged organs were replaced by parts taken from unwound teens? What would you choose to do? What if you were certain to die if you refused the parts? What if it wasn't you, but someone you loved (a parent, a sibling) who was in an accident? Would your answer be different?
I was in a Car Crash, Unfortunately, a piece of metal pierced my one of lungs. I quickly got rushed to the hospital, where I woke up with my family around me. I was asked if I wanted to replace my lung to a healthier one using Unwound teens. My thought process goes through different kinds of reasons and consequences if I might take or reject the given lung to me. My family asked me to make a choice since they didn't want to force me into anything. I thought about my family first how they would react to this, they wouldn't want me to die but at the same time, they wouldn't want another person's organ inside me. My thought about this would be how I needed to leave my family if I wouldn't take the organ but as time went on I wouldn't want someone else's organ since they are either forced to do it or forced to believe it was a good thing. My final decision was to not take it since I didn't feel like having another person's lung especially if it's someone who is forced into donating their organs. Even if my life is at stake I would still reject it because I would just feel uncomfortable knowing that somebody else's organ is inside me.

1. Abandonment
Definition: An act or fact of abandoning or being abandoned.
People can feel abandoned in all sorts of situations. Basically, if you are abandoned, it means that someone has stopped to support you or to look after you.
Connor and Risa both experienced abandonment. They both knew how abandonment feels like.
Connor felt abandonment when Ariana decided not to come with him to run away.
"So you're not coming?"
"I want to, I really, really want to... but I can't."
"So everything we talked about was just a lie."
Risa felt abandonment when she was abandoned by the headmaster by unwinding her to lessen the population.
"We have to make room for every new ward."
"You do understand, don't you?"
"I'm being unwound?"
Silence. It's more of an answer than if they had said "yes."
2. Morality
Definition: Concerning the difference between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour.
In Unwind many people questions who gets to take a person's life? Is it fine to take a person's life without their consent? A constant question that the readers often think about when reading Unwind. Is it fine to take their life by being forceful about it? what about brainwashing them to think that it is good to let someone else take your life?.
When Risa's headmaster decided to unwind Risa. Risa thought is it okay for her headmaster to take away her life without her saying so. Risa thought about the choice of her headmaster to unwind her.
"You're a good musician, but..."
"As I said, you've reached your potential."
"As far as you can go."
"Perhaps if you had chosen a less competitive course of study."
Connor encountered the situation that his parents were gonna unwind him.
He turns to his father looking at him. Not just looking, but staring. He's going to tell me now, Connor thinks. He's going to tell me they're unwinding me, then break down in tears, going on and on about how sorry sorry sorry he is about it all. If he does, Connor just might accept the apology.
Lev is forced to believe that it was good to be unwind that it's an offering to the god.
The party is all for him. It's all about him. And he's determined to have the best time of his life.
"You don't have to bring anything," Lev had told them
"There are no presents at a tithing party. Just come and have a good time. I know I will."

The Value Of Human Life.
What is the Value Of Human Life? Can we sell it for a price? Can we buy it? How do we know the value of it?. I think The Value Of Human Life is constantly brought up in unwind, in this society people don't think that human life has any value.
Pg. 198
"Your life is my gift to you. Treat it like one."
Pg. 167
Pg. 167
"If you die (instead of being unwound) at least you go to heaven."
Pg. 24
"Please, Miss Ward. It's not dying, and I'm sure everyone here would be more comfortable if you didn't suggest something so blatantly inflammatory. The fact is, 100% of you will still be alive, just in a divided state."
