My experience going to orana wild life park

07/08/17

Today we go to orana wild life park for stand by me kete,first we we're all separated in 7 groups and assigned with a teacher and each groups were given a tour guide to explain all of the animals.We see the gorillas first and we see 3 gorillas the tour guide said that the when the gorillas became older they'll become bigger and bulkier and the second animal we see is the giraffes and the tour guide give as different kind of leaves to feed for the giraffes only one giraffe eats the leaves the giraffes are very tall.The third animal we see is the rhinos the tour guide said that they very small eyes and they rely on there hearing and if they hear something they might attack they are very big next we see the cheetahs they are the most flexible animal and fastest they only run that fast about 30-40 seconds then we see the lions the female lions hunt the food and the male lions eat first then the female lions then the cubs if there are food left.Then we go to the keas they are endangered because the Maoris keep taking them and they live in the top of the mountains then the kiwis the kiwi's love the dark and their cage is dark too there egg is big and the male kiwi sits on the egg to give it warmth until it hatches their nose is in the end of their beak for the father to get food he digs but then he sniffs the dirt then they blow it out again then we go to the reptiles we see the frogs the geckos they are good at camouflages then the last animal we see is the tigers their are white tigers too but we only see one tiger that's the animals we see in orana wild life park we enjoyed it we have fun figuring out new facts about the animals and we have fun viewing the animals too.
