LO-identify endagered species in NZ,explain why they are endangered and create a way to increase the population of the species.

1.Endangered species is the risk of animals nearing on their extinction.
2.Mokohinau stag bettle
fairy terns
maui dolphin
chesterfield skink
knobbled weevil
3.To increase the number of fairy terns we have to is when we see a fairy tern with your dog or cat try to keep your pet away from them and the rats kill the rats if  you see one to protect the endangered species don't kill them, don't catch them.
1.fairy terns.
2.There habitat is lost and they are predation by rats, cats, dogs. The dogs can eat eggs and chase or kill chicks while people in motorbikes, car can crush eggs, nests can fail if parents are disturbed from incubating the egg and stormy weather can caused the adult fairy terns abandon their nest and high tides can wash up there nests.
3.There are about 40 left in new zealand.
4.To save them we have to not ruin their habitat, don't kill or catch them if your with your dog or cat and you see one of the fairy terns don't let your pet near it,if there's fairy terns in the area create a sign to warn them to not catch the fairy terns in that area or have a sign that says keep dogs, cats away from where the fairy terns are nesting.
