Science

When putting the ball and the ring on the fire for the first time the particles on the solid is still not moving that much and it's still the same color but after 30 seconds the ring and the ball started to change color.

The hole turned bronze because of the heat energy put in the particles, it also expands a little bit. It glows a red if put on the Bunsen burner for too long. Once placed in cold water, the wet substance sizzles causing smoke to arise. Once the hole calms down, it turns back to a lighter shade of gold.

The ball transitions from bronze to purple, it doesn’t turn red. Once put in cold water the ball causes the wet substance to sizzle uncontrollably making water fly in different directions.

Now putting both the hole and ball on top of the fire, both turned silver.

Upon putting it through each other , the ball is a bit hard to put in through the hole and put for both metal have lost some width. It is still possible for both to pass through each other.

The hole and the ring expands because of the heat energy added in the particles. The movement of the particles became more violent and it started to expand.
