SOST Pyramids How the stones were transported.

How were the stones used for building the pyramid transported?
Egyptians are known for their pyramids especially the great pyramid of Giza. How the stone got there is a big question. One way they could've transported it is by wetting the sand in front of the stone. By wetting the sand it makes the sands stick together making it easier for the sledges to glide across. There are still many ways they could've transported it.

They also built ramps for transporting the stones up and down the pyramid. The ramps were used to deliver the stone to wherever the pyramid is, the ramps also grew with the pyramid it's slopes getting higher with the pyramid. There were also ropes attached to the stone acting as a force multiplier making it easier to pull the stone up the slope. These are the ways they could've transported the stones to the pyramids.

11. How are adults constructed in this text? Adults are constructed like they are fake and they act fake. That they need to be like so they act fake.

28. What kind of social reality does this text portray?  The rating of other people is like social media in real life. Apps like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter have a liking system it is like rating people based on what they show on their posts.

29. How does this text construct a version of reality? Some people in real life has a mask that hides their true self because they are afraid that people might not like the real them. Things like stereotypes can hurt someone mentally if they are getting based on that stereotype.

34. What different interpretations of the text are possible? It is possible that maybe the future isn't as fun as we imagined it. Instead of using technology to do good for the planet we use it to compete and ruin each other's lives.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
   Written Response:
Nosedive means a sudden fall this was shown in the film Nosedive by showing the main protagonist Lacie Pound take a massive fall in just a few hours. A positive thing about this rating system is if you have a high enough rating you can have a huge benefit on life, but on the other side if you can't get a high rating you are treated as a criminal and on top of that you can't be your real self. Characteristics of females to get a high rating is to act lady-like and have a pretty face to be able to be liked by people. The scene where she started losing her mind and her real self at the wedding because I feel like this just proves that getting people who have low ratings did lose their mind at some point. It's a little realistic of a future for us because right now no one ever thought of turning social media as the same thing on the film.

SOST Are students addicted to their phones?

20/08/19, Tuesday

With many students addicted to their phones, it is starting to become a problem as time goes on. Students are going through their phones even while in class. This is shown to be a problem because students are not focusing on their studies. When teenagers are always on their phones. They can’t focus properly with the task on hand, this can affect their future immensely because if they get to the point of having to work on a thing they weren’t paying attention to achieve a goal that would become a problem for them if the student is more focus on their phones than their studies. While phones are helpful with our research, getting addicted to it is a problem and students are addicted to it.
